Staffin Slipway, Skye

Staffin Slipway, Skye

A Brit Stayed: Saturday 2 June 2018

This location is at the end of a narrow single road track. The last 350 metres are down a very steep and narrow part with a big drop to the left, and are buttock-clenching to drive!

The drive is worth the effort, as this is a great location surrounded by water on three sides. There are flat areas to be found in the part tarmac/part gravel parking area, with round for about five vans.

There is a slipway if you have a kayak or canoe with you.

Take care on those 350 metres back up the steep slope – and – relax . . .
